Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

I updated the policy so it consistently covers famalliance.org, go.famahub.com, and https://go.famahub.com/getstartedwithfama, and I also cleaned up several conflicting statements in the original version—for example, saying you “do not collect information” while later describing forms, registrations, payments, surveys, SMS, and email collection.

Last Updated: September 12, 2026

One important change I made was replacing the original absolute statement “We do not collect information from visitors” because it conflicts with FAMA’s actual forms, volunteer registrations, events, surveys, payments, email signups, and SMS opt-ins. The revised language more accurately describes what the Sites appear to do.

Because this will function as a legal/privacy notice, it would also be wise to have counsel review the final policy specifically for Florida privacy requirements, SMS/TCPA consent language, children’s/youth program data, and any CRM/tracking tools used through FAMA Hub before publishing.
